Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a first-person shooter game, which is a sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game is developed by Treyarch and is available on Xbox One. The game has two different storylines and time periods. The first storyline is set in 1986 and features Alex Mason, who is brought out of retirement to catch Raul Menendez, a criminal mastermind. The second storyline is set in 2025 and features David, Mason’s son, who needs to find Menendez, who sparks the second Cold War.
The game has a campaign mode, which is divided into story missions and Strike Force missions. The story missions allow players to make decisions that will affect the future of the characters. The Strike Force missions, available in 2025, feature permanent death, which means that if a character is killed, players cannot return to the checkpoint, and have to continue the game without them. Additionally, the game has a Zombies mode, which has a completely new story and features nuclear experiments in 2025 Nevada that cause the appearance of zombies.
